Our Medical Service Offerings

At Riverchase Dermatology, we use the latest advancements in medical dermatological care to treat all your conditions. Our staff of board-certified dermatologist provide expert diagnosis, treatment and care.

SKIN GROWTHS

Many common growths develop on people’s skin. While the causes are often poorly understood, some are associated with aging and others are inherited. Skin growths are often referred to as lesions.

SKIN RASHES

Skin rashes are one of the most common reasons people visit a dermatologist. There are many different types of rashes that can occur for a variety of reasons, including an allergic reaction, medications, plants, infection or disease.

SKIN INFECTIONS

As the body’s largest organ, your skin is typically an effective barrier to internal infection. At times, however, the skin may be host to a number of rashes and other conditions that occur due to the presence of bacteria, fungi or viruses that can cause skin infections.

DRY SKIN & RELATED CONDITIONS

Dry skin can occur at any age, and for many reasons. Skin becomes dry when it loses too much water or oil. This is why skin generally becomes drier as we age, during the winter and in low-humidity climates.

FACIAL SKIN CONDITIONS

Throughout your life, it’s highly likely that one or more skin disorders will affect your face – whether it’s acne as a teenager or sun damage as you grow older. Facial skin problems occur for a variety of reasons

HAIR AND NAIL DISORDERS

The hair on your head grows from follicles in the skin, and provides sun protection for your scalp. In a similar way, your nails protect the tips of your fingers and toes from injury while also providing support.

SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES

Some of the most common skin issues are sexually-transmitted, including herpes, which is estimated to affect 67% of the world’s population. Some skin diseases are transmitted by physical, although not necessarily sexual, contact.
